I read all those numbers when playback has stopped at the end of the last item (and this is why I do not care about the -24.2 LUFS short term value). Youlean Loudness Meter tells me -6.7 LUFS integrated, 3.0 LU loudness range, -4.0 LUFS momentary max, -4.9 LUFS short term max, and 0.1 dB true peak max. This is with all offsets for Reapers's master meter set to 0, and window set to 300 ms. I just played a mix through it and Reaper's master meter tells me peaks -1.1 for both channels, and RMS -8.0 and -7.8 for left and right, respectively. I am not sure what it is that the plugin tells me. maybe you think that this is off-topic in this thread, if so just let me know and I'll move it. See the REAPER site for more.First, congrats to Youlean for winning the KVR Development Challenge 2016! Need more? The program supports all the major audio and MIDI plugin standards: VST, VSTi, DX, DXi, JS, and AU (the latter being OSX only), and so can be extended in just about any direction you like.Īnd all this comes at a surprisingly reasonable price, for the DAW market at least: if you're happy with the trial version then REAPER can be yours from $60. REAPER is able to map control surfaces (even game controllers) to faders, plug-in controls, REAPER actions and more, helping you to create a working environment that works just the way you expect. You can import any audio or MIDI source, maybe plug in a microphone to record something, then loop, pitch shift, trim, time stretch, fade and otherwise edit your work until you're happy. If you're unfamiliar with the jargon, essentially this means that the program is a high-end and very configurable digital recording studio. REAPER is a professional Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
